Andree Martinez

Andree is an American born in Mexico who was raised within El Paso. She comes from a family with entertainment-related genes. From a very young age, Karla (Host on Univision's Despierta America!) and others from the family were around her. Along with her father Andrew Martinez, who is vice-president of Safety Security and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison (SCE), one of the most powerful electric utilities in the United States. Andrew Martinez works for Southern California Edison. SCE, one of the largest utilities in the United States is the vice-president for safety security and business Resiliency. He oversees the company's programs and activities which focus on worker safety, corporate security and business resiliency which are all key priorities for SCE. Martinez provides safety managers throughout all areas of the company mentoring, top-quality training and guidance to assist them in reaching the safety goals of their respective work groups. Martinez previously served at SCE as Director for Safety Training and Compliance. He was previously director for Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services. In his 30-year tenure at SCE Martinez has held several leadership positions in corrective action as well as performance improvement programmes, such as roles at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) focused on protecting employees and the public from risks.
