Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey into combat sports at the young age of fourteen. She studied kickboxing, boxing and wrestling prior to making her first amateur appearance at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd built on this victory and began a 3 fight win streak at Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round in each fight. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous vote. Aspen won against Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia outclassed Aspen and swept her away in an unanimous vote to remove an ominous mark on her amateur record. Ladd took her bout with Roma Pawelek to improve to an 8-1 record. Aspen began her career in 2015after signing with Invicta FC for her professional debut. Invicta eleven saw Aspen slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. Invicta defeated her at bantamweight and won via armbar submission in the 2nd round. Aspen employed her impressive wrestling skills to take down McGill and ended her via third-round TKO(elbows or punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 in the weight class of catchweight(138.1lb) as Ladd was unable to reach the weight limit. Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her off in the second round with a TKO. Invicta FC 28 was her last bout for the organization. Invicta FC 22 saw Sijara Eubanks defeated by unanimity. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut at UFC Fight Night 118 against Lina Lansberg. She dominated Lina, and ground-and - beat her to a TKO victory in the second round. Then, in her third fight she defeated Tonya Evinger even more impressively. Ladd ended Evinger's bout after the first round. She also received the reward for her performance on the night. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee She fought Sijara Eubanks to win her first major fight. Ladd's victory was a unanimous victory, and she was awarded the Fight of the Night award went to each fighter. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie put an end to Ladd's winning streak with just 16 seconds. Yana Knitskaya lost in the 3rd round at UFC 7 at ESPN. As a last-minute replacement for her UFC match, she faced Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. It was a loss by majority decision.
